A great experience for those who want to take their first breath underwater by just walking in, instead of jumping from a boat! This is an important first step to determine if diving is right for you and should be performed by a highly qualified and experienced instructor. It would be our privilege to help you take this critical first step.

The minimum age to participate is 10 years old. Maximum depth for this experience is 27ft/8m. Experience the under-sea world with us for the first time.

Course Description:
The program last approximately an hour and half. Our certified PADI instructor will give you a 25-minute instructional in our Mayan classroom. After learning the basic skills and use of the gear, we will do a walk-in shore dive to a maximum depth of 27ft/8m. Starting in shallow water (where you can stand) we then swim on the surface (like snorkeling) to get familiar with breathing on SCUBA. Once everyone is familiar and comfortable with the equipment, we descend into the amazing ocean, an experience you will never forget. If you’re feeling a little nervous, don’t worry, our trained instructors can help you. We’ll even hold your hand if you would like. Most importantly, this is where your diving adventure begins!
During your approximately 45-to-60-minute exploration, you can see beautiful corals, sponges, schools of fish, stingray, lobster, and a natural cavern. You will also experience some natural phenomena called haloclines and thermoclines. These occur in many underwater ecosystems and are a unique experience. After the program and dive, you can keep enjoying the park for the rest of the day.
