The diving industry offers many opportunities starting with Divemaster.

You will work both behind the scenes and directly with customers during their diving adventure.

With knowledge and skills, you develop during training, you will help organize, assist classes, and lead tours for certified divers.

Price:

$1,200 US

We accept cash or credit cards.
A non-refundable deposit of $200 US is required for all the courses that include eLearning.
Prices include Taxes and National Marine Park contributions.

Course Description:

After completing the e-learning portion of the course (not included in pricing), you will then participate in the required diving experiences. During your e-Learning, you may contact us for any questions you may have on this portion of the course. During the 15-Day in-person training, you will have direct supervision and gain practical experience giving dive briefings, assisting with classes and leading underwater tours. Learn how to anticipate problems and provide assistance, create an Emergency Assistance Plan and improve your navigation and problem-solving skills through practical workshops in our daily offshore and boat diving. 

Once the course is complete, you’ll have earned your Divemaster certification. As a Divemaster, you can work in the dive industry. Dive centers and resorts are looking for talented Divemasters who will be role models and inspire caring and compassion for our oceans.

Prerequisites:

  • Minimum age 18 years old
  • Open Water, Advanced Diver and Rescue Certifications or equivalents
  • Completion of Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care Training or equivalent within 24 months
  • Minimum 40 logged dives
  • Medically evaluated and cleared for diving by a physician within 12 months
  • Sign and complete Divemaster Waiver and Medical History
